Procedure.Students will be going down to the computer lab to work of a WebQuest. They will be allowed to explore the entire WebQuest but they will be mainly focusing on the “School” aspect. The “School” part explores geometry and Greek culture, this is the third task. This WebQuest can be done at the end of the Unit to allow student to see another form of Greek geometry.
DIRECT INSTRUCTION: Students will be given website: http://www.uni.edu/schneidj/webquests/fall04/greece/index.html They will read through Index and Introduction and when they get to the Process page will go to “School” to begin WebQuest GUIDED INSTRUCTION Student will complete WebQuest, only the school part or third task. If they finish early they can explore other parts of the WebQuest. CLOSURE Read Conclusion and answer questions. Either at the end of period or the next class students will show their work and share their experiences. |
