Dear Principal,
This letter is to express my interest in becoming a teacher at your school. As a secondary education major with a concentration in mathematics I am ready to teach a new generation. I am interested in using the skills learned in my education classes as well as through my student teaching experiences.
As a secondary education major I am aware of the importance of mathematics at this level. It is a subject that is not always liked by some students but appears on all major tests. I am committed to bringing this subject to life. In my student teaching experience I have come to understand the importance of student involvement in their learning. This century’s learner must participate in the classroom, use technology, and talk through what they are learning with their peers. In additional, I have been challenged and learned how to deal with a diverse group of learners.
I am incredibly excited to start my career in the education field. I hope to make a positive difference in lives of my students. I have attached a copy of my resume. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Thank You,
Kathleen J. O’Malley
